The Great Well (大井頭)
The Great Well is the place where shipping vessels stopped, and it is very close to Tai Jiang Nei Hai (lagoon) 300 years ago. Even when the Chihkan Tower was on fire, local people fight the blaze by the well water. Because of its specific location, the place became the heart of Tainan City, then it was named one of the most iconic place in the ancient Tainan City.
